Barbell Club

Redefined Barbell Club is our USAW sanctioned competitive weightlifting team and for those athletes looking for a dedicated strength-building program. These classes are 60-90 minutes in duration and are held three times per week. These sessions focus primarily on practicing and improving technical execution of the snatch, clean & jerk and other related lifts. Olympic-style, Power and auxiliary lifts will be practiced at this time.

Programming is based on 12-week periodization with additional accessory work added. Modifications are tailored for individual athletes as required. In each class, athletes can expect to snatch, clean & jerk, perform dynamic pulling drills, perform upper body strength and/or dynamic work, perform squats for strength and/or speed, and finish with core work.
